717th Eye Camp Inaugurated in Jamshedpur

Collaborative effort launches eye care operations under CSR initiative in East Singhbhum.

The 717th Eye Camp, a collaborative initiative, began its operation session in East Singhbhum, organized by various local and corporate entities.

JAMSHEDPUR – The inauguration saw the cutting of the ribbon by dignitaries including B.L. Das from LIC and B.N.P. Gupta, alongside local Red Cross and Ram Manohar Lohia Nethralaya leaders.

Eye operations and lens implantations were performed on 30 patients by Dr. B.P. Singh, Dr. Bharti Sharma, and their medical team.

The camp is supported by the Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, and other organizations, under the CSR program of Uranium Corporation of India Limited.

Notable contributors to the camp’s success include Red Cross Vice Patron Kamal Kishore Ladda and members such as Rakesh Mishra and Kishan Aggarwal.

Patients operated on will receive a final checkup, eye care information, and necessary aids like medicines and spectacles.

This initiative underscores a strong community commitment to healthcare and the collaborative spirit of various stakeholders in addressing eye health needs.

The camp represents a significant effort to provide essential eye care services to those in need in the region, fostering health and well-being.
