JAMSHEDPUR – The local Income Tax Department commemorated its annual day with a diverse array of events that were intended to promote community engagement and increase awareness of taxation.

Several competitive activities were included in the festivity for the participants.

Senior department officials initiated the day’s activities with a walkathon.

Attendees were addressed by department leadership, who emphasized their most recent achievements.

Competition champions and exceptional students were granted prizes.

The department’s dedication to public engagement and education was exemplified by the event.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in strategic and artistic competitions.

Attendees were granted the opportunity to exhibit their artistic abilities through a painting competition.

In a slogan writing contest, wordsmiths were afforded the chance to develop persuasive messages.

Chess aficionados competed against one another to demonstrate their strategic acumen.

In a distinct competition, carrom players showcased their precision.

Departmental personnel of all ranks participated enthusiastically in the walkathon.

The march was conducted by Principal Commissioner Shishir Dhamija, IAS, and Additional Commissioner N. Hemalatha.

Bijay Kumar, the Income Tax Officer (M), participated in the trek alongside other department members.

The department’s commitment to taxpayer service was underscored in Dhamija’s speech.

The Income Tax Department’s substantial progress was acknowledged by the commissioner.
