Rakeshwar Pandey’s birthday was celebrated with a blend of spiritual recitation and charitable acts, demonstrating a commitment to community welfare in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The birthday of Shri Rakeshwar Pandey, esteemed Chairman of the Joint Action Committee, was commemorated with splendid celebrations and acts of generosity.

The day began with a spiritual recitation of the Bhagwad Gita, organized by the Joint Action Committee, setting a tone of reverence and gratitude.

A cake-cutting ceremony at his Bistupur residence at 10:00 am marked the personal celebration, attended by committee officials and well-wishers.

The festivities extended to Nikko Jubilee Park, where children from Cheshire Home were treated to a picnic, cake, and blanket distribution, embodying the spirit of giving back to the community.

Committee officials gathered at Pandey’s residence by 9:30 am, initiating the day’s events with the Geeta recitation.

The evening was further graced by a bhajan program at his house, adding a musical homage to the day’s celebrations.

Vinod Rai, the coordinator of the Joint Action Committee, played a pivotal role in orchestrating these events.

The celebration saw active participation from co-coordinators like Parvinder Singh Sohal, Mahendra Mishra, and many others, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the committee.

This event was not just a celebration but a confluence of city’s notable personalities, including union secretaries, management officials from various companies, renowned social workers, political leaders, and labor friends, all united in honoring Pandey’s birthday.

This occasion was a testament to Pandey’s influence and respect in the community, blending traditional festivities with a strong sense of social responsibility and community service.
