CHAIBASA – In a shocking incident, a woman named B Tubid (35) was openly assaulted in broad daylight in Tantnagar OP under Khedia Tangar, after being accused of witchcraft.

The life of the woman was saved thanks to the bravery of a local girl who alerted the authorities.

The attacker, identified as Dole Tubid, a fellow resident of the village, started beating her publicly after leveling the witchcraft accusations against her.

While the villagers watched passively, a young girl present at the scene filmed the brutal beating.

Upon spotting her, the accused turned his rage towards the girl, causing her to flee and alert the village Munda.
