A patient at MGM Hospital was caught stealing a mobile phone from another patient, leading to his arrest.
JAMSHEDPUR – Authorities are conducting thorough inquiries following the arrest of a patient for theft at MGM Hospital.
V Rai, identified as the thief, was handed over to Sakchi police for further questioning.
During a search, two stolen mobile phones were recovered from Vikas.
He confessed to the theft during interrogation, admitting to being admitted for injuries from a road accident.
V Rai, hailing from Rohtas, Bihar, was undergoing treatment at the hospital after sustaining injuries.
The theft came to light when the victim reported the incident to the Home Guard personnel at the hospital.
CCTV footage review by Home Guard personnel led to the swift apprehension of V Rai.
