SSP Prabhat Kumar Launches Online Hotel Guest Police Verification Facility in Jamshedpur

The initiative is a collaboration between Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association and Jamshedpur Police.

JAMSHEDPUR – An Online Hotel Guest Police Verification facility was officially launched on Wednesday by Jamshedpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar.

This service, a joint effort by the Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association and Jamshedpur Police, was formally inaugurated at a function hosted at Hotel Ramada.

Ravish Ranjan, President of the Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association, explained that the new service utilizes a centralized email ID provided by Jamshedpur Police.

This allows hotel operators to convey all guest-related information directly to the police via email.

Ranjan estimates that this new process will save hotel operators approximately Rs 40 lakh annually.

With the advent of this system, the traditional manual verification process for hotel guests will be eliminated, leading to significant time savings and reducing inconvenience for both guests and the police.

Ranjan expressed his belief that this new system will not only make the process more efficient but also enhance the overall guest experience in the city.

To further support this initiative, Jamshedpur Police has assigned a nodal officer with a dedicated contact number for hotel guests to reach out to in case of any issues.

The SSP of Jamshedpur, Prabhat Kumar, reassured that the Jamshedpur Police will extend all necessary support to the Hotel and Restaurant Association.
