SSP Orders Probe into Interior Designer’s Tragic Death
Investigation launched into the alleged suicide of Komal Kumari at Nanak Residency Hotel
Authorities to examine circumstances leading to the young designer’s demise in Mango.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic incident at Nanak Residency Hotel in Mango, a young interior designer, K Kumari, aged 26, was found deceased, prompting a detailed investigation by local authorities.
The Senior Superintendent of Police has directed a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Kumari’s death, allegedly by hanging herself in room number 302 of the hotel.
Initial reports suggest the motive behind the suicide was her lover’s refusal to marry her, leading to Kumari’s despondent state. A suicide note, revealing her anguish over her lover’s decision to marry someone else, was discovered by the police during preliminary investigations.
Kumari had checked into the hotel around 8 p.m. the previous evening, overcoming the staff’s hesitations by asserting her recent move from Jamshedpur, despite presenting a local identification card.
Her lifeless body was found the next morning after she failed to respond to hotel staff who had arranged an auto for her departure. Entry into the room was gained using a master key, revealing the somber scene.
As part of the investigation, authorities have also seized Kumari’s mobile phone, aiming to uncover further details about the events leading to her death.
The SSP’s mandate for a comprehensive investigation underscores the seriousness with which this case is being treated. A Deputy Superintendent of Police has been tasked with leading the inquiry, with a focus on understanding the full context of Komal Kumari’s tragic end.
This incident has shaken the local community, highlighting the need for awareness and support for individuals facing personal crises.
