Murder Accused Amit Singh, Chirag Mukhi Served Notice in Jamshedpur

Adverts were pasted at the homes of murder accused Amit Singh and Chirag Mukhi in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur. The suspects, on the run since January, are charged with murdering Chandrashekhar Singh.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday, the Sidhgora police took an unprecedented step in their efforts to bring two murder suspects to justice.

Advertisements were pasted at the residences of the accused, Amit Singh and Chirag Mukhi, who have been absconding since January this year.

The duo is implicated in the murder of Chandrashekhar Singh of Telco, Jamshedpur.

Amit Singh is a resident near Bagunhatu Ashram while Chirag Mukhi lives on Bhima Road, Sidhgora.

These notifications were publicly posted along with a drum beat, as per Section 82 of the CrPC.

The police warned that if the accused fail to appear in court, their properties will be attached after 30 days, as stated in Section 83 of the CrPC.
