Naxal Squad Accuses Victims of Revealing Hidden Weapons, Sparking Fear Among Residents

In a horrifying incident, Naxalites brutally murdered a father and son in Hindiyakala village, accusing them of informing the police about hidden weapons.

CHATRA – Naxalites accused Biffa Oraon and his son of informing the police about weapons hidden in the homes of Ganesh Ganjhu and Jitendra Ganjhu.

During a raid on May 10, 2024, police seized firearms and ammunition, including INSAS rifle bullets and pistol rounds, from the Ganjhus’ residence in Hindiyakala village.

The bodies of the murdered father and son were taken to Chatra Sadar Hospital for autopsies.

After the attackers left, villagers quickly alerted the authorities, prompting police station in-charge Nitesh Kumar Prasad and his team to arrive at the scene promptly.

The duo was severely beaten and then shot dead.

Reports indicate that the militants stormed into Biffa Oraon’s house, accusing him and his son of aiding the police.

The terrifying event took place on Saturday night when a Naxal squad armed with weapons entered the village and fired shots into the air, causing panic among the residents.

In the Naxal-affected Hindiyakala village of Kunda police station area, a father and son were brutally murdered for allegedly being police informers.

The incident has sparked fear and tension among the villagers, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by Naxal activities in the region.
