Drunken Son Kills Father with Spade in Jamshedpur Village
Tragic Incident in Kankidih Village Leads to Arrest
On Sunday morning, 55-year-old Jaliram Tudu was killed by his intoxicated son in Kankidih village, under Kamalpur police station, in the rural area of Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic incident on Sunday morning, Jaliram Tudu, aged 55, was killed by his drunken son, Jyotilal Tudu, in Kankidih village, located in the rural region of Jamshedpur.
Jyotilal Tudu struck his father on the temple with a spade, resulting in fatal injuries.
Following the incident, Jaliram Tudu was rushed to a private hospital in the village, where doctors declared him dead.
Harihar Tudu, a relative, revealed that Jyotilal was perpetually intoxicated and often sold household items, such as rice, to fund his alcohol consumption.
When Jaliram, who had recently returned home after working as a laborer in Kharsawan, refused to allow any more items to be sold, Jyotilal became violent.
On Sunday, when his father refused to let him sell any material, Jyotilal struck him forcefully on the temple with a spade, causing severe bleeding and injury.
Jaliram Tudu succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
The police arrived on the scene, took custody of the body, and conducted a post-mortem examination.
Jyotilal Tudu has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
