JAMSHEDPUR – District administration in Seraikela intensifies preparations as President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to attend NIT Jamshedpur’s 15th convocation ceremony on December 29.

Deputy Commissioner Nitish Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat have accelerated coordination efforts. The officials held a comprehensive review meeting at JIADA auditorium on Tuesday. Various department heads participated in the session.

The meeting focused on route line arrangements. Officials discussed all necessary preparations for the presidential visit. Duties were assigned to concerned officials during the session.

Meanwhile, DC Singh explained the meeting’s primary objective. He said coordination with NIT management resulted in a finalized route map. The administration has completed detailed planning for the event.

On the other hand, SP Lunayat addressed security arrangements. He confirmed that preparations have been expedited. Adequate security forces will be deployed across the route.

However, the police chief emphasized peaceful conduct. He stated that sufficient personnel will ensure safe completion of the program. Security measures are being implemented comprehensively.

Moreover, officials conducted a field inspection. DC, SP and department heads visited NIT campus after the meeting. They reviewed ground-level preparations during the visit.

The administration is working closely with NIT authorities. Coordination between district officials and institute management continues. All departments have been directed to complete assigned tasks.

Security arrangements cover the entire travel route. The district administration has prepared contingency plans. Traffic management strategies are being finalized for the day.
