JAMSHEDPUR – The SSP emphasized the Cyber Cell’s vital role in tracking social media for misinformation.

To safeguard the festive atmosphere of Holi, the Jamshedpur Police have implemented a series of comprehensive security measures. The collaborative efforts between the Traffic Police and the Excise Department aim to curb rash and drunken driving through breathalyzer tests.

Over 3000 officers will be strategically stationed throughout the city, focusing on the well-being of the community and enforcing public order. The commitment to maintaining peace involves close surveillance of social media platforms like WhatsApp and Twitter, preventing the dissemination of misleading information.

Kishore Kaushal, the Senior Superintendent of Police of East Singhbhum, has pledged to uphold tranquility and order during the celebrations. The department’s actions reflect a strong resolve to combat rumour spreading and ensure the collective security of Jamshedpur’s inhabitants.

This initiative showcases the police’s dedication to a secure and enjoyable Holi.
