The party workers burnt the effigy of the Hemant Soren government in Jamshedpur too and demonstrated against the alleged repressive measures of the state government.
Anger is simmering within the BJP over the administrative action taken against the party’s leaders and workers in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. In protest against this action, the BJP workers and leaders across the state wore black badges and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Yesterday, BJP workers and leaders from across the state had gathered around the Secretariat in Ranchi to protest against the wrong policies of the state government.
However, the police force present there resorted to lathi charge, water cannon and tear gas to disperse the crowd, resulting in several BJP workers getting injured.
The incident has been labelled as a “murder of democracy” by the BJP, and the effigy of the Chief Minister was burnt as a mark of protest.
The Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP unit in Jamshedpur also burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister at Sakchi Golchakkar.
This protest is likely to further escalate the tensions between the BJP and the state government in Jharkhand.
The BJP has been alleging that the state government is targeting its workers and leaders, while the government has not responded to the charges.
The BJP workers protested by wearing black badges in all the districts across the state on Wednesday.
