Monsoon season, officially expected on June 10 in Jharkhand, faces delays this year, intensifying heatwave conditions and the plight of the homeless.

JAMSHEDPUR – The official date for the monsoons to arrive in Jharkhand is 10th June. Though this serves just as an idea.

The monsoon is a natural phenomenon and works on its free will. This year it is to get delayed as per the reports.

Every eye at the minimum is gazing once skyward and thinking of rain.

The summers this year have broken records of several preceding years. Several lives have met the severe ill-fate by the scorching heat and the unbearable temperature rise.

They can be seen to seek refuge in bus stands, railway platforms and other public places. In search of shelter they can be witnessed at the shop awnings trying to save themselves from getting wet. Beneath the overbridge they built their temporary homes. We all are this world’s citizens and see such kind of heart-wrenching sites usually melt the strongest of hearts.

As the rains are about to come and lessen the water scarcity and other summer woes a thought for them comes uninvited until an otherness makes space in the conscious mind to solve a necessary and practical issue of life.
