Defense Minister Highlights Modi’s Efforts in Poverty Alleviation and India’s Economic Progress
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Dumka on Friday to campaign for Sita Soren, the BJP candidate for the Dumka Lok Sabha seat, where he emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievements and appealed for votes in her support.
JAMSHEDPUR – During a campaign rally in Dumka on Friday, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh sought support for Sita Soren, the BJP candidate for the Dumka Lok Sabha constituency, while highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his efforts in alleviating poverty and fostering India’s economic growth.
Singh praised Modi’s dedication, stating that he has worked tirelessly to lift 25 crore people out of poverty.
He expressed confidence in Modi’s re-election as Prime Minister, asserting that no one has accomplished as much as he has in the past 10 years.
The Defense Minister emphasized India’s current position as the fifth wealthiest nation, attributing the country’s continuous progress to Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
Singh also acknowledged the significant role played by the tribal community in India’s struggle for independence.
Addressing the issue of corruption, Singh claimed that it was prevalent during Congress governments and asserted that no corrupt individual would escape Prime Minister Modi’s attention.
He further defended the government’s actions against the corrupt, stating that if any wrongdoing is proven, appropriate action will be taken by the High Court and Supreme Court.
Singh also recalled Prime Minister Modi’s efforts in ensuring the safe return of 28,000 to 30,000 Indian students stranded in Ukraine during the conflict.
He revealed that the Prime Minister had personally spoken to the Presidents of both countries involved, resulting in a four-and-a-half-hour ceasefire to facilitate the students’ evacuation.
