Rajnagar police solve Subhash Kaivarto murder case, one arrested
Jamshedpur: Rajnagar police cracked the Subhash Kaivarto murder case within 24 hours. The police arrested the alleged accused Mantu Maharana into custody and sent him to jail within 24 hours.
The officer-in-charge Chandan Kumar has confirmed that Rajnagar police took the accused Mantu Maharana into custody and sent him to jail within 24 hours while probing the Subhash Kaivarto murder case.
It may be added here that Subhash Kaivarto, a youth, was killed with a sharp knife in Vikrampur area under the jurisdiction of Rajnagar police station.
The crime had called quite a sensation in the entire area.
Acting quick on the evidences collected by the police, the Rajnagar police arrested Mantu Maharana, the alleged main accused in the murder case while probing the case within 24 hours.
The police confirmed that the accused Mantu Maharana was sent to jail by the police on Sunday.
The station in-charge Chandan Kumar said that information was received on the night of June 17 at around 2 pm about the incident.
After this, after which the Rajnagar police team reached the spot along with the force and launched the investigations.
The police said that the main accused Mantu Maharana was arrested near Mirudih of Adityapur.
The station in-charge also added that during interrogation, the accused Mantu Maharana has confessed to his crime and has admitted that there was an altercation between the two over money.
According to him, during the altercation, Mantu Maharana, in a state of intoxication, brought a sharp knife-like weapon from his house and stabbed Subhash Kaivarto to deathand escaped from there.
The police arrested him within 24 hours and sent him to Seraikela jail.
