JAMSHEDPUR – A wave of celebration swept through the Agrawal community across Jharkhand and beyond on Sunday after Ranchi’s Basant Mittal was elected National President of the Akhil Bhartiya Agrawal Sammelan by a decisive margin of 384 votes over his rival Gopal Sharan Garg.

The victory was greeted with enthusiasm by community members across the country. The East Singhbhum District Agrawal Sammelan was among the first to formally congratulate Mittal on the historic win.

Former district president Sandeep Muraraka, incumbent president Abhishek Agrawal ‘Goldie’, general secretary Mantu Agrawal, and treasurer Ajay Bhalotia jointly stated that the organisation would scale new heights under Mittal’s leadership. They expressed confidence that effective work in the interest of the community would follow.

Former district president of Agrawal Yuva Manch Jamshedpur, Rohit Agrawal, and former district general secretary Sunny Sanghi also extended congratulations. They said Mittal’s leadership would serve as an inspiration for the younger generation and infuse fresh energy into the community.

Former state spokesperson of the Jharkhand Pradesh Agrawal Sammelan, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, said in his message: “This victory belongs not just to Basant ji, but to every Agrawal in Jharkhand. It is a symbol of the community’s unity and trust.”

Active members of the Agrawal community expressed confidence that the Akhil Bhartiya Agrawal Sammelan would achieve new milestones in social, cultural, and organisational spheres under Mittal’s stewardship.
