JAMSHEDPUR – The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations held a significant meeting in Jamshedpur, bringing together automobile dealers from across Jharkhand to discuss procedural bottlenecks at Regional Transport Offices and road safety concerns.
The meeting was attended by FADA President Sai Giridhar and CEO Daman. A large number of automobile dealers from Jharkhand participated in the discussions.
The primary focus of the gathering was on difficulties arising from RTO procedures. Dealers raised concerns about delays in vehicle registration, documentation, and other administrative processes. They pointed out that such delays made it difficult to deliver vehicles to customers on time. Moreover, these bottlenecks were said to be adversely affecting business operations.
East Singhbhum District Transport Officer Dhananjay Kumar attended the meeting along with his team. He listened carefully to the issues raised by the dealers. The DTO assured participants that necessary steps would be taken to simplify and expedite the existing procedures. The dialogue between officials and dealers was described as positive and solution-oriented.
Road safety also featured prominently in the discussions. FADA stressed the need to run awareness campaigns at the school level. In addition, the association underlined the active role that dealers could play in promoting safe and responsible driving habits among the public.
The meeting is being viewed as an important initiative towards better coordination between automobile dealers and the RTO department. Participants expressed hope that the outcomes would lead to improvements in operational efficiency, road safety standards, and customer service levels across the region.
