Ramgarh Jewellery Shop Robbery Solved, 7 Arrested Across Jharkhand and Bihar

RAMGARH – Ramgarh police have cracked the robbery at Shiv Shankar Jewellers in the Rajrappa police station area, arresting seven accused and recovering looted jewellery.
The robbery had taken place on April 21 at the jewellery shop. Two of the accused were apprehended by police on the very night of the incident.
The seven arrested accused are Subhani Ansari alias Lalka, Manish Kumar, Reena Devi, Chandrawati Devi, Anand Kumar, Arbaz Ansari, and Nasrullah Ansari.
Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team under the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Ramgarh, to investigate the case.
Based on technical evidence and forensic analysis, raiding teams fanned out across Ramgarh, Latehar, Palamu, Ranchi, and several other districts.
Arbaz Ansari and Nasrullah Ansari were nabbed from Palamu. On the other hand, Anand Kumar and Subhani Ansari had already been arrested on the day of the incident itself.
Following technical evidence, raids were also carried out in Nalanda district of Bihar. Three accused not named in the FIR — Manish Kumar, Reena Devi, and Chandrawati Devi — were arrested from Nalanda. Gold and silver jewellery along with an e-tempo vehicle were recovered from their possession.
During questioning, the three told police that the jewellery had been looted from Shiv Shankar Jewellers on April 21. They added that they were on their way to sell the stolen goods when arrested.
In a further development in the investigation, two more accused were arrested from the Pipratand police station area of Palamu district. A Honda Shine motorcycle used in the robbery was recovered from them. Besides the bike, the clothes worn during the incident and looted gold jewellery were also seized.
The operation involved coordinated multi-district raids driven by technical surveillance and ground intelligence.
