JAMSHEDPUR – A spiritual and culturally significant event, the “Domuhani Sangam Mahotsav,” was held under the joint auspices of the Hindu Utsav Samiti and Umeed Ek Abhiyaan. The grand celebration took place at the iconic confluence of rivers at the Domuhani Sangam site, attracting hundreds of devotees.

The festival’s centerpiece was the Ganga Aarti, which transformed the riverside into a divine spectacle. Chanting of sacred hymns, the glow of countless lamps, and devotional songs dedicated to Ganga Maa created a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

Devotees Unite for Faith and Devotion

Men and women of all ages gathered at the sacred site to perform rituals and immerse themselves in devotion. Many expressed their belief in the spiritual significance of the Sangam, where bathing is considered to bring blessings and merit.

Hindu Utsav Samiti members emphasized the event’s purpose of fostering faith and unity. “These festivals preserve local traditions and inspire the community to remain connected to their culture and spirituality,” a committee official shared.
