JAMSHEDPUR – Two Tata Archery Academy (TAA) archers have powered Jharkhand’s women’s team into the finals of the Senior National Archery Championship at Gopal Maidan.

The prestigious tournament brings together India’s top archers. The event combines three major championships under one umbrella.

Championship Details

The five-day event includes multiple archery formats. The competition features Indian Round, Recurve, and Compound divisions.

Moreover, NTPC and Tata Steel have extended their support. The Archery Association of India oversees the technical conduct.

Medal Prospects

Ankita Bhakat has shown remarkable form throughout the season. The TAA archer recently won medals at international events.

Meanwhile, Komalika Bari continues her impressive run. The young archer has multiple junior world championship medals to her name.

Tournament Schedule

The compound archery events will commence tomorrow. Both team and mixed events will feature top national talents.

Furthermore, the women’s team gold medal match is scheduled for December 20. Madhya Pradesh stands between Jharkhand and the gold medal.
