Jamshedpur – Tata Football Academy’s (TFA) 12-day selection trial concluded on Saturday, identifying 142 young players for advanced football training and education over the next four years.
Selection Process Highlights
From 1,095 participants nationwide, 142 players were shortlisted based on their performance in the trials. The academy, renowned as one of India’s oldest and most prestigious football institutions, will provide these players with specialized training.
The trials saw participation from 26 states, showcasing the enthusiasm for football across the country. Kerala contributed the highest number of participants, with 355 players attending the trials.
Four-Year Training Program
The selected players will undergo rigorous training at TFA for four years, aimed at honing their skills to professional levels. Alongside football, they will receive free education, ensuring holistic development during their tenure at the academy.
