Safe Travel Workshop Held for School Bus Drivers at Loyola School, Jamshedpur

A workshop at Loyola School, Jamshedpur, aimed to train school bus drivers on safety measures. The event was organized to ensure student safety and minimize accidents.

JAMSHEDPUR – A crucial workshop on safe travel for school students was organized at the Loyola School Auditorium in Jamshedpur.

The Principal of the school, along with the Safety Officer of Tata Steel, took the initiative to provide important safety tips to the school bus drivers of the city.

In Jamshedpur, a large number of private school vehicles run to transport students to and from their schools, making the safety of children a paramount concern.

While school bus drivers generally adhere to safety standards, the city has witnessed accidents involving these vehicles in the past.

The workshop’s primary focus was to further enhance the safety level, ensuring that all school bus drivers comply with safety standards.

The objective was to create awareness, provide practical guidelines, and instill a sense of responsibility among the drivers.

The event saw participation from about 100 school bus drivers, who were keen to learn and committed to taking the safety of their young passengers seriously.

Various safety measures were discussed, including adherence to speed limits, the importance of seat belts, regular vehicle maintenance, and careful driving near schools.

The participants were also made aware of the legal consequences of neglecting safety rules and were encouraged to work collectively to build a safer environment for student travel.

The workshop served as a significant step in ensuring that children’s daily commutes to school are as safe as possible and reflected a communal dedication to the well-being of the city’s students.
