Belwatika Gurdwara hosts Shabad Kirtan, Guru Ka Langar in Medininagar

MEDININAGAR – The Sikh community celebrated the 555th Prakashotsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, with great devotion and enthusiasm on Friday.
The celebration, organized by Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, commenced with Shabad Kirtan and Guruvani recitals at Belwatika Gurdwara, creating a spiritual atmosphere from early morning.
Around noon, the Guru Granth Sahib was ceremoniously brought to the Guru Tegh Bahadur Memorial Hall in a grand procession led by the Nishan Sahib.
Devotees reverently chanted "Waheguru Satnam" as they accompanied the procession.
At the Memorial Hall, the Guru’s court was adorned, followed by Ardas, Shabad Kirtan, and Guruvani recitations.
A ragi jatha from Patna Sahib, led by Bhai Gurudev Singh, performed hymns, captivating the congregation with their devotional music.
Local ragis, including Gyani Sundar Singh and Gyani Aniket Singh, along with students from Deshmesh Model School and Gurukulam International School, also performed during the event.
The celebration concluded with Guru Ka Langar, where a large number of devotees and others enjoyed the sacred meal.
Notable attendees included Satbir Singh Raja, Rajendra Singh Bunty, Charanpreet Singh, Kunwar Singh, Gurveer Singh Golu, and several other prominent community members.
