Election Commission Launches Voter Helpline App to Simplify Voting

New App Enhances Voter Accessibility and Election Engagement with Robust Features

The Election Commission of India has introduced the Voter Helpline App, a new tool designed to make the voting process more accessible and efficient for citizens across the country.

JAMSHEDPUR – With the unveiling of the Voter Helpline App, the Election Commission aims to revolutionize the way voters interact with the electoral system.

The app allows voters to easily search for their names in the voter list, ensuring they are registered and eligible to vote.

For unregistered voters, the app offers a straightforward platform for completing voter registration and rectifying any discrepancies.

The traditional method of obtaining voter slips has been replaced with the ability to download digital voter slips directly from the app, streamlining the pre-voting process.

As a comprehensive source of election-related information, the app provides details on election schedules, candidate profiles, and real-time updates on election results.

Key features of the app include free availability on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, non-storage of personal data for privacy, and functionalities like voter registration adjustment, complaint submission, and linkage between mobile numbers and EPIC cards.

This initiative is part of the Election Commission’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in the democratic process, making it easier for every citizen to participate and stay informed.
