24th Jharkhand State Yogasan Championship Concludes in Jamshedpur
Over 400 participants from across state compete for national spots
Two-day yoga competition at Motilal Nehru Public School showcases talent in various age categories.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 24th Jharkhand State Yogasan Sports Championship 2024 concluded successfully at Motilal Nehru Public School on August 25-26.
The event, organized by East Singhbhum District Yoga Association, saw participation from over 400 competitors across Jharkhand.
Participants competed in various age categories to secure spots in the upcoming national competition.
The championship was supported jointly by Tata Steel and UP Sangh.
Ranchi team clinched the overall Yogasan Sports Championship title, with Jamshedpur securing the second position.
Dr. Akhilesh Dubey, President of UP Sangh, attended as the chief guest for the closing ceremony.
National Secretary of Yoga Federation of India, Sanjay Jha, was also present at the event.
Winners in different age categories were awarded, securing their representation for Jharkhand in the national competition.
The national competition is scheduled to be held in Himachal Pradesh in November.
East Singhbhum District Yoga Association Secretary Pappu Shukla was honored with a cash prize of Rs. 1,01,000 for organizing the event.
The championship aimed to promote yoga and identify talent for national-level representation from Jharkhand.
