Seraikela Police Rescue Kidnapped Teenager, Arrest Kidnapper in Ranchi

A 9-year-old kidnapped teenager has been successfully rescued by Seraikela police, leading to the arrest of the kidnapper in Ranchi.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a major success for the Seraikela-Kharsawan district’s Ichagarh police station, they have managed to safely recover a kidnapped 9-year-old teenager, Nagendra Rathore, and arrest the perpetrator.

The kidnapper, identified as Manpuran Malar, a resident of Dhurva in Ranchi, was subsequently sent to judicial custody.

The police also managed to recover the auto, registered under number JH01CP-5293, which was used in the incident.

Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sanjay Singh provided this information, stating that the teenager’s father, Manejar Rathore, had filed a complaint about his son’s kidnapping on August 1.

Following this, under the SP’s direction, a team was assembled, led by Singh.

Investigations were carried out diligently by Ichagarh police station in-charge and researcher ASI Shailendra Tutu and his team.

With the assistance of credible sources and the technical branch, they managed to safely extract the teenager from the kidnapper’s clutches in the Dhurva police station area of Ranchi.

Singh mentioned that the auto used in the kidnapping had also been confiscated.

On July 25, near Milan Chowk of Ichagarh, the kidnapper had abducted the child with the intention of carrying out the kidnapping, subsequently taking him to Ranchi.
