The Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club will organize a seven-a-side football tournament for players aged 40 and above on July 7 at Tinplate Ground.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club is set to organize a seven-a-side football tournament on July 7 at Tinplate Ground.

The competition will feature players aged 40 and above.

Each team will consist of nine players, with seven players on the field at any given time.

Former Ranji cricketer Avinash Kumar will be the point of contact for players interested in participating in this age category.

The tournament is free to enter and aims to promote fitness awareness among the participants.

Previously, the Jamshedpur Veteran Sports Club has successfully organized basketball, hockey, and water polo events.

"This tournament is a great opportunity for older athletes to stay active and healthy," said a club representative.

The event promises to bring together veteran sports enthusiasts for a day of competitive and enjoyable football.
