Abhay Singh files complaint against Salman Khurshid over controversial statement.
BJP leader Abhay Singh has lodged a complaint at Sakchi police station in Jamshedpur, seeking a case of ‘act against unity and integrity of India’ against Congress leader Salman Khurshid.
JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Abhay Singh has lodged a complaint at Sakchi police station in Jamshedpur, seeking a BNS Section 152 case against Congress leader Salman Khurshid.
Singh expressed concern that recent statements made by Congress leaders regarding the coup in Bangladesh could potentially disrupt communal harmony in India.

He emphasized the need to prevent such statements and take action against those responsible.
Salman Khurshid had reportedly commented that the situation in Bangladesh could also occur in India, which Singh believes is fueling communal tensions.
Singh further criticized Khurshid for remaining silent on the persecution of minority Hindus in Bangladesh while making statements that could incite unrest in India.
He urged authorities to take immediate action to prevent any further escalation of communal tensions.
The complaint has been filed as all eyes are focused on the situation in Bangladesh.
It may be mentioned here that Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita has done away with the word Sedition that was used in the erstwhile IPC section 124. Section 124 has been replaced by section 152 of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. A
lthough the provisions of the two sections are nearly same, the word Sedition has been done away with.
Abhay Singh’s Statement
In a statement on Facebook, BJP leader Abhay Singh wrote: “FIR was registered against Congress leader Mr. Salman Khurshid in Sakchi police station. After the coup in Bangladesh and the subsequent incidents of assault, rape and molestation of minority Hindu brothers and sisters, Congress leader and former foreign minister Mr. Salman Khurshid and Congress leader Mr. Sajjan Verma said that this situation can happen in India as well. By giving this statement, Congress leaders have spoken their heart out. Do such leaders want to incite violence in India as well or do they want to rape Hindu brothers and sisters here? Do they want to overthrow the government here and start a civil war in the entire country? In protest against such statements, FIR was registered against both the leaders Mr. Salman Khurshid and Mr. Sajjan Verma in Sakchi police station.”
Acts endangering the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India
