JAMSHEDPUR – Amit Sharma, the Jamshedpur District President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), recently convened a meeting with the Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) to resolve the urgent concerns of garbage accumulation and clogged drains in the East Assembly constituency during the monsoon season.
The JNAC Special Officer promptly convened a meeting with all cleaning contractors and supervisors following the meeting, instructing them to enhance the quality of the cleaning work and expedite the process.
According to Amit Sharma, the President of the BJYM Youth District, the monsoon rainfall had resulted in severe waterlogging in the region as a result of the overflow of large drains.
He emphasized the necessity of cleaning the main drains thoroughly to prevent waterlogging.
The JNAC has been instructed to improve the cleaning of large sewers in response to the concerns that have been raised.
BJYM workers are conducting routine surveys of the region to oversee public issues, with the assistance of Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy.
They are making rapid efforts to resolve any issues that may arise.
