Jamshedpur police, acting on a tip-off, arrested a man with 170 packets of brown sugar near the Chaibasa bus stand.

JAMSHEDPUR – Acting on a tip-off, Jamshedpur police arrested a man with a significant quantity of brown sugar near the Chaibasa bus stand.

City SP Rishabh Garg revealed that the police received information about a man standing near the Chaibasa bus stand with brown sugar.

Upon receiving the information, the police swiftly formed a team and launched a raid.

The accused was apprehended during the operation, with 170 packets of brown sugar found in his possession.

The arrested individual has been identified as Jameer Ahmed, a resident of Parsudih.

During interrogation, Ahmed disclosed the names of other accomplices involved in the crime.

The police are conducting raids to apprehend these individuals as well.

SP Rishabh Garg stated, "This arrest is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the area. We will continue our operations to bring all culprits to justice."
