BJM Delegation Meets with GM of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited

Delegation discusses public electricity issues with the General Manager.

Camp scheduled in Karandih and Birsa Nagar to address billing discrepancies.

JAMSHEDPUR – A delegation from the Bharatiya Janatantra Morcha (BJM) Jamshedpur Metropolitan, led by District President Subodh Srivastava, met with the General Manager of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) to discuss public electricity issues.

The delegation raised concerns about discrepancies in electricity bills and requested solutions.

In response, the General Manager instructed the Executive Engineer to hold a camp in Karandih on July 16 to address these issues.

Additionally, approval was given for a camp in Birsa Nagar in August.

The General Manager emphasized that online application is the only option for new connections and assured consumers that legal action can be taken against any wrongdoing.

The delegation included District President Subodh Srivastava, General Secretary Kulvinder Singh Pannu, District Minister Vikas Gupta, Birsa Nagar East Mandal President Shankar Karmakar, Baridih Mandal President Vijayanarayan Singh, and members Naveen Kumar, Darshan Singh, and Sunil Prasad.
