Jamshedpur: Girl’s Body Found in Chandrapahadi Forest, Police Suspect Rape and Murder
The discovery of a girl’s body in Chandra Pahari forest near Kudada village has caused a stir in the Sundarnagar area.
A girl’s body was discovered in Chandrapahadi forest, raising suspicions of rape and murder.
JAMSHEDPUR – The body of a young girl was found in the Chandrapahadi forest near Kudada village in Jamshedpur’s Sundernagar police station area on Tuesday morning, creating a sensation in the local community.
The body was discovered by people grazing cattle, who promptly informed the police.
Sunderagar police station in-charge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha stated that the police were alerted by villagers who found the naked body in the forest.
The girl’s T-shirt and jeans were found approximately 200 meters away from the body.
Despite showing the body and clothes to the villagers, the girl remains unidentified.
Initial investigations suggest the possibility of rape and murder, with the perpetrators likely abandoning the body in the forest to conceal evidence.
Kushwaha noted, "A foul smell is emanating from the body, indicating it has been there for three to four days."
The police are currently focused on identifying the victim and further investigating the case.
This incident has raised concerns about safety in the area and the need for vigilant policing.
