Polling Parties Dispatched to Booths in Jamshedpur Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections
Officials Oversee Smooth Departure of Polling Teams from Co-operative and LBSM College Centres
Polling parties are being dispatched from Jamshedpur Co-operative College Centre and LBSM College Centre to various polling booths across the city in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections on May 25.
JAMSHEDPUR – Polling parties are being dispatched to different polling booths in Jamshedpur from Jamshedpur Co-operative College Centre and LBSM College Centre.
After inspecting the dispatch center at Co-operative College, officials gave necessary directions to ensure the smooth departure of the polling parties.
Polling teams for Jugsalai, Jamshedpur East, and Jamshedpur West assembly constituencies are being sent from the Co-operative College.
Polling parties are queuing up and receiving EVMs in a disciplined manner.
Polling parties are being dispatched from both centers for voting.
Along with SSP, DDC, and other officials, arrangements at the LBSM College Dispatch Center were inspected and necessary guidelines were provided for the successful conduct of the elections.
Voting for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat is scheduled for May 25.
More than seven thousand polling parties for 1887 booths are leaving for their respective locations on Friday.
District Election Officer Ananya Mittal provided this information during a press conference yesterday.
Ananya Mittal mentioned that during the Code of Conduct, a total of Rs 64 lakh was seized in 23 cases.
Out of these, 19 cases were resolved and the seized money was returned, while Rs 4 lakh remains seized in 4 cases.
No publicity of any kind will be allowed after 5 pm on Thursday.
These measures ensure the fair and smooth conduct of the upcoming elections in Jamshedpur.
