BJP Jamshedpur Unit Vigilantly Monitors EVMs Ahead of Counting Day
Workers Deployed in Shifts, Candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato Visits Monitoring Camp
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jamshedpur unit has deployed its workers in shifts to ensure round-the-clock monitoring of the EVMs stored in the strong room at the Jamshedpur Cooperative College.
JAMSHEDPUR – With the polling for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat concluded on May 25 and the counting of votes scheduled for June 4, the BJP Jamshedpur unit has taken proactive measures to safeguard the mandate of the people captured in the EVMs.
The EVMs from all six assembly constituencies under the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency are securely stored in the strong room at the Jamshedpur Cooperative College, under the watchful eyes of central forces.
BJP workers have been deployed in shifts to maintain a 24/7 vigil over the EVMs from a monitoring camp set up on the college grounds.
On Sunday, the Burmamines Mandal team took charge of the monitoring duties at the camp.
Jamshedpur Lok Sabha candidate MP Bidyut Baran Mahato paid a visit to the camp, accompanied by several senior party leaders and workers.
Confidence in Bidyut Mahato’s Victory
During his visit, Mahato gathered detailed information regarding the supervision of the EVMs from the board chairman and the workers present.
A senior BJP leader, on condition of anonymity, told our reporter, "We have full faith in Bidyut Mahato’s leadership and the tireless efforts of our party workers. The people of Jamshedpur have witnessed the transformative development under Mahato’s tenure, and we are confident that they will bestow their blessings upon him once again."
The leader further emphasized the significance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies in driving Jamshedpur’s growth and credited Bidyut Baran Mahato’s dedicated service for the region’s progress.
Vigilant Monitoring and Future Election Plans
At the monitoring camp, BJP workers engaged in discussions about future election plans with great enthusiasm, showcasing their preparedness to oversee the EVMs.
"Our team is committed to ensuring the security and sanctity of the EVMs," said a BJP worker who has been actively involved in the monitoring process. "We are working tirelessly in shifts to maintain a constant vigil, leaving no room for any irregularities."
The camp witnessed the participation of numerous key party members, including State Working Committee Member Kulwant Singh Bunty, District General Secretary Rakesh Singh, Minister Manjit Singh, and several other prominent leaders and workers.
Despite the scorching summer heat, BJP workers, along with senior party leaders, have been diligently monitoring the strong room from a tent set up on the cooperative college grounds.
Access to the strong room is strictly restricted, with CCTV cameras installed by the district administration to ensure continuous surveillance.
The camera screens, located in a nearby building, enable BJP workers to vigilantly secure the votes cast for MPs and candidates.
To maintain consistent monitoring, BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar has assigned different circles under the Lok Sabha to oversee the EVMs on different days, ensuring round-the-clock vigilance from the tent in the college grounds.
