A late-night road accident near Galudih-Mahulia Chowk on Saturday left three people with minor injuries after their car collided with a divider and overturned. The passengers, all residents of Jamshedpur Birsanagar, were returning from Kolkata when the incident occurred.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a frightening incident late Saturday night, a car bearing the registration number WB 22U 2497 met with an accident near Galudih-Mahulia Chowk on the National Highway.
The vehicle, carrying three passengers from Jamshedpur Birsanagar, was en route from Kolkata when the mishap took place.
According to reports, the driver, Raju Das, along with passengers Sandhya Horo and Niti Horo, was attempting to avoid another vehicle on the highway when their car suddenly lost control.
The vehicle collided with the divider and overturned, leaving the occupants shaken and injured.
Fortunately, all three individuals escaped with only minor injuries, despite the severity of the crash.
Upon receiving information about the accident, Galudih police promptly reached the scene to assist the victims.
The police successfully extricated the passengers from the overturned vehicle and utilized a crane to straighten the damaged car.
Following the rescue, the three individuals proceeded to Birsanagar in another car to seek medical attention at Tata Motors Hospital.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for caution while driving on highways, especially during late-night hours.
