8th Johar Haat Exhibition Showcases Tribal Heritage

Today marks the start of the eighth Johar Haat exhibition, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Indian tribes from various states, organized by Tata Steel Foundation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Johar Haat, an initiative aiming to promote Indian tribes’ art, craft, food, and culture, unveiled its eighth edition today.

The show, featuring over 9 tribes and celebrating independence in accordance with Independence Day, is set to be a cultural treat for attendees.

Tata Steel Foundation organizes the exhibition, bringing together entrepreneurs from Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, making it a diverse and enriching experience.

Visitors can explore and appreciate handicrafts including lac bangles, dokra craft, dried flower crafts, Warli woodcraft, cotton and Tussar fabrics, tribal healing items, and indulge in unique tribal food.

With a mission to bring tribal heritage to the forefront, Johar Haat stands as a symbol of cultural diversity and tradition.
