Johar Haat June 2024 Edition Kicks Off in Jamshedpur
Sustainability-themed exhibition features over 20 entrepreneurs from 3 states and 5 tribes
The June 2024 edition of Johar Haat, an initiative by Tata Steel Foundation, began today at Prakriti Vihar, Kadma, Jamshedpur, showcasing sustainable handicrafts and tribal heritage.
JAMSHEDPUR – The June 2024 edition of Johar Haat, organized by Tata Steel Foundation, kicked off today at Prakriti Vihar, Kadma, Jamshedpur.
This month’s Johar Haat will host over 20 entrepreneurs from three states, representing five different tribes.
The theme for this cycle of Johar Haat is sustainability, in line with the World Environment Day celebration on June 5.
The week-long exhibition will feature handicrafts focused on creativity, traditional techniques, and sustainable materials.
Workshops on Cane Crafts making and a session on Tribal Textile will be hosted during the exhibition.
Additionally, tribal cuisines focusing on delicacies that help beat the heat will be served.
