Candlelight protest on Bistupur Main Road demands justice and stronger action against rape

Jamshedpur’s riding community, led by Jodi Riders, organized a silent protest and candlelight march against the recent surge in violence against women.

JAMSHEDPUR – A silent candlelight march protesting violence against women was organized by Jodi Riders, with hundreds of individuals gathering on Bistupur Main Road.

On Friday evening, a peaceful demonstration was conducted in the vicinity of Brubeck, which attracted individuals from a variety of origins.

Protesters came together to demonstrate their support for victims and to demand justice for the heinous offenses committed against women.

The event was designed to convey a powerful message of optimism and resilience, encouraging society to adopt a more assertive approach to sexual violence.

The Jodi Riders, who are renowned for their social activism in Jamshedpur, began the march with a distinct message of unity and collective action.

"We cannot remain silent as long as such heinous crimes continue to occur," stated a rider from the group.
