Deployment of Over 7,500 Polling Parties and 100 Security Companies Ensures Fair Elections

Over 7,500 polling parties have been deployed across 1,887 booths for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha election to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.

JAMSHEDPUR – Comprehensive security measures have been implemented for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha election, with over 7,500 polling parties deployed across 1,887 booths.

The randomization of micro observers has been finalized to enhance transparency and fairness in the electoral process.

In an effort to engage voters, 26 polling booths will be decorated with 20 unique themes.

Deputy Election Officer of East Singhbhum, Ananya Mittal, confirmed the deployment arrangements and police readiness for ensuring free and fair elections.

Video cameras will be installed at highly sensitive and vulnerable polling booths to monitor activities.

A total of 100 companies of security personnel, including 50 companies of central paramilitary forces, have been deployed to secure left-wing extremist-infested polling booths.

Senior officials have inspected the Jamshedpur Cooperative College, which will serve as the strong room for the by-election.

To enhance safety at sensitive booths, particularly in Naxalite-affected areas, 72 medical teams have been formed.

These measures are aimed at ensuring a secure and transparent electoral process for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha election.
