Mandate for CCTV Installation and Security Checks in Bars to Prevent Criminal Activities

In the wake of a shooting and murder incident at a beer bar in Ranchi, Jamshedpur Police have swiftly implemented stringent security measures.

JAMSHEDPUR – After a disturbing incident in Ranchi, the Jamshedpur Police have taken action under the guidance of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) by issuing firm instructions to hotel, restaurant, and bar owners in the district.

Installing CCTV cameras within premises and conducting thorough security checks on individuals before allowing entry is now a requirement for owners.

If individuals are discovered with weapons in bars, they will face serious repercussions, and bar owners will be held responsible.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from the City Criminal Investigation Department (CCR CID) stressed the importance of implementing specific guidelines throughout the city, with a particular emphasis on bars.

The local police in Jamshedpur are actively working to prevent any incidents similar to the one that occurred in Ranchi.

We have a meeting planned with bar owners to have a thorough discussion about ways to reduce the occurrence of criminal activities in our city.

In addition, we have increased patrolling in the area and instructed our officers to keep a close watch on bars and their surroundings.

These measures are designed to prioritize the safety and well-being of patrons by enhancing security.

The Jamshedpur Police are dedicated to maintaining law and order, making focused efforts to prevent any future violent incidents.
