Serious accident at UCIL Mines leaves three contract workers injured.
JAMSHEDPUR – A severe accident occurred on Friday, April 12, at the UCIL Mines in Jaduguda, injuring three contract laborers.
The incident involved a passenger vehicle overturning at the fifth level turning underground at the Narwa site.
One of the injured is in critical condition and all have been transported to Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur.
The laborers, employed by Delta Company, were involved in iron ore transportation when the accident happened.
Reports indicate the vehicle’s brakes failed, leading to it overturning and trapping the driver.
Authorities have not yet released an official statement; the injured include Arun Hansda, Shekhar Singh, and Ramdas Soren.
