The District Legal Services Authority organized a legal awareness camp and launched a Legal Literacy Club to promote legal knowledge.
The Secretary of DLSA, Rajendra Prasad, served as the chief guest during the inauguration of the club, emphasizing the significance of rights and education.
JAMSHEDPUR – A Legal Literacy Club was inaugurated at Sidhu Kanhu School in Mango during a legal awareness camp organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).
The event, attended by DLSA Secretary Rajendra Prasad, began with a welcome song by the students.
During the event, Prasad discussed the importance of understanding legal rights and responsibilities and highlighted how education could help the children achieve their goals.
The children received insights from legal experts like Rajesh Das, a mediator advocate, and Legal Council head Videsh Singh, who explained laws related to child labor, domestic violence, and child marriage.
The students also learned about the POCSO Act, sexual harassment laws, and government welfare programs.
Prominent guests included PLV Nagendra Kumar and Ashish Prajapati.
The school Principal concluded the event by thanking the guests for an informative session.
