PM Modi Accuses Congress of Plundering Jharkhand During Election Rally

Jharkhand Political Rally Sees PM Modi Criticize Opposition, Allege Constitutional Threats

In an incendiary speech during a political rally in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi charged the Congress party and its allies with widespread corruption and electoral malpractices, also issuing a staunch defense of constitutional rights.

CHAIBASA – In his recent campaign stop in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi voiced severe allegations against the Congress party and its coalition, asserting an ongoing exploitation of the state’s resources and a potential threat to constitutional rights.

Prime Minister Modi asserted his commitment to safeguarding the constitution, declaring his tenure an era where constitutional amendments aimed at reallocating quotas will not be allowed.

This affirmation came amidst his claim of opposition party strategies to shift reservation benefits from tribals and other backward classes to other communities, notably Muslims, as evidenced by recent developments in Karnataka.

Furthermore, he expressed concerns about the demographic shifts and the implications of increasing infiltrator numbers, particularly in tribal areas, stressing the potential threat to the indigenous rights of tribals in Jharkhand.

In the same vein, Modi issued a challenge to Congress leaders to affirm in writing their stance on not reallocating reservation quotas based on religion, highlighting a lack of commitment to preserving the rights enshrined by Ambedkar.

At the rally, Modi criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress for their roles in the so-called ‘loot’ of resources, including lands traditionally owned by tribal communities, and even military lands, illustrating the severity with the recovery of Rs 300 crore in a Congress MP’s hideout.

He concluded his charges by mentioning a sinister collusion between local leaders and infiltrators, risking the safety and rights of Jharkhand’s tribal population, likening the situation to similar issues faced in Bengal.
