Holistic Development Through Sports Planned for Madarsa Children

A special three-day summer camp aimed at fostering holistic development among children attending Madarsa is set to begin on May 15 at Mango Gandhi Ground. The initiative is designed to introduce young participants to a variety of sports disciplines.

JAMSHEDPUR – Starting May 15, Mango Gandhi Ground will host a three-day summer camp for children from local Madarsa, focusing on promoting holistic development through sports.

The camp, organized by the Mango Welfare Mission, will feature a range of sports including football, cricket, and handball.

Dr. Afroz Shakeel and Md. Tahir Hussain from the mission emphasized the importance of introducing these activities to broaden the children’s experiences beyond traditional religious education.

Strategies for maintaining physical fitness will also be a key component of the camp, ensuring participants not only enjoy the games but also understand the health benefits associated with sports.

Md. Rashid announced that this year, the camp will also include competitions, with prizes awarded to the winning teams, adding an element of excitement and motivation for the children.

The initiative underscores the significant role sports can play in shaping the futures of young individuals by providing them with skills and experiences that contribute to their overall development.
