Sidhgora Krida Udyan to get Basketball Court and Archery Ground

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy announces the inauguration of new sports facilities; events scheduled for June 22 and 23.

Sidhgora Krida Udyan in Jamshedpur is set to become a hub for sports enthusiasts with the inauguration of a basketball court and archery ground.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy held a meeting with technical sports experts at Sidgora Krida Udyan to discuss the upcoming inauguration of new sports facilities.

The basketball court, funded by the MLA, will be inaugurated on June 22 at 4 pm.

On the same day, the archery ground will also be opened.

A basketball match between two teams is scheduled for June 22, with a follow-up match between four teams on June 23 from 4 pm to 7 pm.

These matches will feature both boys’ and girls’ teams.

Mr. Roy stated that representatives from various sports in the city would be invited to the inauguration.

Sidgora Krida Udyan aims to develop into a center for sports lovers.

In the initial phase, archery competitions of 5 meters, 10 meters, and 15 meters will be organized.

Following the inauguration, interested players can register for participation based on specific terms and conditions.

The meeting saw the presence of prominent figures, including East Singhbhum Olympic Association President Olympian Harbhajan Singh, Shyam Kumar, Jharkhand Technical Head of Basketball Association Mohammad Arif, Mohammad Jalal, Jharkhand Archery Association Joint Secretary Anupam Singh, and Mukesh Kumar Singh.
