Congress Candidate Kalicharan Munda Files Nomination in Khunti, Expects Major Win

Kalicharan Munda Optimistic About Victory in Khunti, Supported by Prominent Legislators

Kalicharan Munda, the Congress candidate for the Khunti parliamentary seat, has officially filed his nomination, buoyed by the support of key legislators and a strong public sentiment against the BJP.

KHUNTI – In a significant move for the upcoming elections, Congress candidate Kalicharan Munda filed his nomination from the Khunti parliamentary seat, amidst the support of Tamada MLA Vikas Munda and Simdega MLA Bhushan Bada.

Munda expressed confidence in securing a decisive victory, citing public dissatisfaction with the BJP’s performance in the region.

He boldly claimed that the India alliance would see significant success, including his own campaign against incumbent Arjun Munda.

Prior to his nomination, Kalicharan Munda visited the ancient Solah Bhuji Diuri temple in Tamar to seek blessings for his electoral bid.

He emphasized his deep faith in Diuri Mata Rani and recounted his consistent pilgrimages to the temple before embarking on his election preparations.

The electoral atmosphere in Jharkhand is intensifying with the state set to undergo four phases of voting, starting with Khunti on May 13.

Following his nomination, a large public meeting was held in Khunti, featuring speeches from CM Champai Soren, Minister Alamgir Alam, Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur, and other prominent figures from the Congress and India alliance parties.
