KHUNTI – Arjun Munda, who is contesting from Khunti for the BJP, stepped into the electoral arena this week, submitting his official nomination with the local Election Officer, Lokesh Mishra. The political fervor in Khunti was heightened with the arrival of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who attended a public meeting after his nomination. Singh, arriving from Ranchi, was welcomed warmly by the party workers at the airport, further energizing the local political atmosphere.

"I am here to support a leader who stays connected to the roots, regardless of his high office," stated Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu at the event. Singh’s participation not only boosted the morale of the local party cadre but also drew a clear line of contrast with opposition parties, according to Sahu.
