JAMSHEDPUR – ICAI’s Jamshedpur branch marked the 75th Chartered Accountants Day with a series of noble initiatives such as a blood donation camp, tree plantation, and fruit distribution program.

These initiatives, aimed at giving back to the community, were the highlight of the celebrations.

Branch President CA Ankita Agarwal, who addressed the attendees through digital media, underscored the significance of Chartered Accountants Day.

The day, celebrated every year on July 1, pays tribute to the founding of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), one of the country’s oldest professional institutions.

Vice President of the ICAI Jamshedpur branch, Sugam Saraiwala, kicked off the celebrations by unfurling the flag along with other branch members.

This ceremonial inauguration set the stage for the day’s activities aimed at commemorating the establishment of ICAI and honouring the pivotal role Chartered Accountants play in the financial sector.

The event, held at the Center of Excellence campus, served not only as a celebration of the professional institution’s longevity but also as a reflection of its commitment to community service and environmental conservation.

The Jamshedpur branch of the ICAI remains dedicated to upholding the highest standards of the accountancy profession and contributing to societal betterment.
