Mallikarjun Kharge Praises Hemant Soren, Criticizes BJP at Ranchi Rally
Mallikarjun Kharge, the President of the Congress Party, attended the Ulgulan Nyaya Maharally at Prabhat Tara Ground in Ranchi after a rally in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. During his speech, Kharge extensively praised former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and launched a fierce critique against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
RANCHI – Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge reached Ranchi directly from a rally in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. He addressed a large crowd at the Ulgulan Nyaya Maharally at Prabhat Tara Ground.
Kharge praised Hemant Soren for his bravery and commitment to tribal rights. He targeted the BJP, accusing them of endangering India’s constitutional democracy.
Kharge apologized for his late arrival, attributing the delay to his visit to Satna where he replaced an ailing Rahul Gandhi. He expressed his commitment to the people of Ranchi, stating, "I could not commit the sin of not coming to this meeting."
Upon arriving on stage, Kharge greeted the audience warmly and immediately criticized the BJP. He highlighted the incarceration of two chief ministers, asserting that Hemant Soren’s decision to face jail showed greater valor than compromising his political beliefs.
Describing Soren as a fearless tribal leader, Kharge remarked,
"Hemant has a lot of courage, he is a tribal, hence he is not afraid and the one who is not afraid never dies." He warned that any attempts to undermine tribal communities would backfire severely.
Kharge further warned of threats to democracy and constitutional rights under BJP’s rule, claiming their goal of winning over 400 seats in Parliament is to amend the Constitution.
He labeled Prime Minister Modi as the "leader of liars," criticizing his administration for failing to bring back black money and provide employment to youth.
